I hope you all had a good Christmas. Carol and I had a wonderful time with our church family on Christmas night. After our midweek service (which is on Thursday night) we had our Christmas banquet. It was a great time of sweet fellowship with the church people. I was a little surprised because more visitors came that night than on our special Christmas Sunday. A lady in our church just opened a small cafe not far from the church so we had it there. Man do the Mongolians know how to eat!!
Today was also a good day at church. We had a good crowed in the morning, especial in our junior church and sunday school. We had one visitor, who said he was from a town a little ways a way from Ulaanbaatar.
After the evening we celebrated two birthdays in December with the traditional Baptist ice cream and cake social.
Continue to pray for the church here, especially the men. Pray that God would get a hold of their hearts and that they would grow as Christians.
