Dear Praying Friends,

We were down in attendance during Christmas vacation, but the attendance has been rising every week since the 1st, and we are now running above average. The two weeks prior to this Sunday, we have had souls saved, and this week we had five first-time visitors: two mothers and an son who came through tracts we had handed out and, the other two, a couple I have been trying to get out for a few weeks.

One of the women who came out is married to a Buddhist and said it will be difficult for her to continue to come. Pray for Adriana and the salvation of her husband.

Yesterday, Rhonda went to Wal-Mart to get a few things and, since on Sundays, there are so many cars in the parking lot, she decided to park on the street. Now it was broad daylight, it is a middle class area, there were people walking all around, and she was parked in front of a bank where there is always police. She came out of Wal-Mart and there was no grill on the van nor a driver's side rearview mirror. She came home and said, "Now don't get mad..." I praise God for His Grace; she told me what happened and I responded with, "Don't worry about it, the Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away." To my shame, I have not always responded that way. We are just thankful that God did not allow them to take more.

It is a reminder to us that we live not only in the world's largest, but also one of the world's most crime-ridden cities of the world; and it is also a reminder to pray for us that we be "delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith."

Sincerely,
Clint Rardin
