We are encouraged with increased numbers this past Thursday and today. This morning we had 35 in all, which was a blessing. I was able to bring the Gospel to three people, (a friend and relatives of our church people) yesterday and today. They are two young men and a young woman who we have known for a while. She is one who seemed unlikely to come to church; an attractive girl that leads a fairly dissolute lifestyle. The one young man listened with great attention and though none of them prayed to be saved today, he seems to be very open and accepting of the Gospel.

Last week I mentioned that some made decisions that I hoped to see fruit from. Today we had one go out for the first time to go door to door just like she said she would. We had four couples go out today. We almost always have one or two go out.

Three first time visitors came this evening. One of them was an older man who goes to the Mormon church. He came early so we had time to talk before the service, and a good talk after. He can't come next week, but we agreed to talk more about the differences between Bible doctrine and Mormon doctrine in two weeks. I pray he comes. We have much praying to do for the people that we have been able to point to the Savior lately. Praise the Lord!

I have been trying to push our people toward greater consecration. I know God wants to do a work through us, we just have to get our lives right and allow Him to do it. We have other plans for this, so please pray as we try to move forward.

Just one more note concerning our registration. I finally found where the buck stops and got some good information. The person I met with is a member of the committee that gives the approval and head honcho at the tax dept. for our district. She puts up a hard front but was very helpful and explained to me everything that we must do in great detail. I even got to talk in considerable detail about the Bible in answer to her inquiry. We're not out of the woods yet, but at least I think we're on the right trail now.
