Just a quick note this week. We are in the midst of our first week of Day Camp, so things are pretty busy. Becky was with us for the first day, but Tuesday morning thought she better not go. We had been praying for good timing with the baby coming and day camp, and God answered our prayers. Ashley Jane was born at 12:18 am, Wedsnesday, the 14th of June! We thank God once again for no complications, and the qualified people that were here to help.

We would appreciate your prayers for the day camp. We have a good group of kids for our first week; some that came last year, and some new ones. I am praying to see some kids stick and become regular church attenders.

We had six new people join the church last Sunday. Some of those we had been praying for for a while, so it was a blessing to see them join. We had a meeting for all who wanted to participate in a ministry, and were encouraged at those who were there. I want to give our young men some responsibilities in our services, so I plan to start preparing them for that.

Again, we praise God for His goodness to us, and pray for an outpouring of His blessing on the work here. I know God wants to do so much more. I believe His Word, and based on that I believe that He is preparing us to glorify His name. Though we don't see yet the blessing we wish to see, we must rejoice in faith that God is working according to His good pleasure. We covet your prayers.
