Soon after his graduation from Bible College, Pastor J returned to his homeland and began sharing the good news of Christ. He found a wide door for effective work when he began his labors. In just a few years, the Lord brought many to faith, and there is now an orphanage, Bible College, and church established.

The Lord provides daily in miraculous ways, such as a Buddhist opening his home to allow the church to meet there!

But with the advancement of the Gospel, there has been much opposition. Just days ago, some of the students were threatened and the Gospel was vehemently rejected. In a similar instance, some of the students met with a few villagers in the jungle and shared the Gospel. They went back to the village and spoke of what they were told. As a result, about 150 people showed up the following day in the jungle to hear the Gospel. The Lord graciously moved, and 45 people surrendered to the Lord!

Then came the opposition, as the rest of the village forced the students to leave.

This is ministry in unreached places: trials, miracles, advancement, opposition. The Gospel will go forth, but not without suffering, faith, rejection, and persecution! There is a lot of faith-trying and trial-enduring behind those 45 recent converts! And there will be some persecution resulting from those 45 converts! However, the victory of the Gospel remains - there are now 45 new converts! And there will be more as the Lord blesses, sustains, and sends His children (Pastor J and students) to gather His other children (future converts) throughout Myanmar!

Pastor J and the students have requested Search And See to come preach the Gospel to the poor and confer degrees for their first graduation exercises. It is our desire to go, but we cannot unless the Lord opens the door.

Pray for Myanmar, these new converts, Pastor J, the orphans, the students, the church, for thousands more Buddhists to come to Christ, and for the Lord's will be done concerning this upcoming graduation.
