Salvation All Of Grace

“And of His fullness have we all received, and grace for grace” (John 1:16).

When we receive Christ, we receive of His fullness and we receive Him as full. We add nothing to Him or His salvation. We are fully persuaded that nothing is lacking, nothing needs to be added, we are complete in Him! He is fully God, for in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead, He is God over all blessed forever. He is fully man for He was made of woman; He is full of righteousness for in Him was no sin; He is full of atoning power for His blood cleanses us from all sin and satisfies the justice of God; He is full of grace to justify and save with an everlasting salvation! Man by nature cannot and will not receive Him as such, but thanks be unto His holy name, He gives grace for grace. It is by His grace that anyone believes Him and receives Him as all their salvation! For by Grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast (Eph. 2:8-9).
