“Coffee with Christ”

(Isaiah 53:11)
“He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.”

“I am satisfied, I am satisfied, I am satisfied with Jesus; but the question comes to me, when I think of Calvary, is the Master satisfied with me?” One thing I am pretty sure of is, not that The Master is satisfied with me but that He is satisfied with the Price Christ paid for me! Notice what the verse above says. He shall see the travail and He shall be satisfied! Who is the first He? Was it God the Father or God the Son? If it was the Father it would go like this. God the Father saw the travail of God the Son and He, God the Father, was satisfied with the price God the Son paid for the sin of those whom He purchased! But, if it was God the Son it would go like this. God the Son saw the travail of His soul and He, God the Son, was satisfied with the possession that was purchased! In other words, God the Father got what His justice demanded for the souls that were purchased and God the Son gets what He paid for! All that the Father gives to the Son will come to Him. The wage demanded! The price paid! The transaction finished! I am clothed in the Righteousness of Christ who bore my iniquities and He is satisfied! And I am justified. I am thankful!

“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
