He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow. He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
Psalm 147:15-19
Things Necessary and Needful to Know
“And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name” (John 20:30-31).
We must never imagine that all that our Saviour did and said is recorded in the Bible or in any other book. If all the miracles He did, sermons that He preached, works He performed, and words He spoke had been written in books, the world itself could not contain the books that must be written; for He is from everlasting to everlasting.
HOWEVER, God has been pleased to have written all that is NECESSARY and NEEDFUL for us to know concerning the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ so that we may know Him, believe Him, and be brought in saving faith to Him (John. 20:31).

All Blessings In Christ (Eph. 1:3)
A work that is finished - that is what brings rest. A war that is won - that is what brings peace. A law that is satisfied - that is what brings liberty. An inheritance that cannot fade away - that is what brings stability. A love that will never end - that is what brings union. A Helper who will never leave our side - that is what brings comfort. A salvation that reaches the uttermost - that is what brings hope. A Substitute that was sacrificed for sin - that is what brings pardon. A Blood that covers all iniquity - that is what brings forgiveness. A gospel message that declares good news - that is what brings joy. A cross that has conquered - that is what brings glory. A death that is swallowed up in victory - that is what brings life. Everything that is accomplished for a child of God, and everything that the accomplishment brings to a child of God, is found in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ!

TRUE GODLINESS OR JUST A FORM?
“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away”(II Timothy 3:5).
All man made religion offers a form of godliness but never true godliness itself. Being a true sinner, I don’t need a form of godliness, I need true godliness and true righteousness. There is a great difference between the two.
A form of godliness says that Christ died for every son of Adam but some of them will go to hell anyway if they don’t decide to believe on Him. True godliness says that Christ died for God’s elect and only God’s elect and those people shall never perish because Christ paid their sin debt in full by His sin atoning death.
A form of godliness says that God wants to save everyone but He can’t do it unless men decide to accept Jesus as their personal savior. True godliness says that everyone God willed to save shall be saved because God will see to all of their salvation.
A form of godliness says that Jesus has made you righteous but you have to keep that righteousness by your works of morality and religion. True godliness says that Christ IS our righteousness and having Christ as our righteousness we can never perish. Oh give me Jehovah-Tsidkenu, the Lord our Righteousness! Oh give me the Savior who saves without any help or input from me! Pastor Frank Tate
The Saviour That Saves His People
“She shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins (Matt. 1:21)
Both Mary and Joseph were instructed to name the child conceived by the Holy Ghost in the womb of the virgin, Jesus, which means Saviour (Luke1:30-35). The Lord Jesus Christ is what He is called; He is the Saviour who truly, perfectly and eternally saves and justifies all His covenant people from all their sins (Heb. 9:11-12,1 Peter 1:18-20, 1 John 1:7).
His death and crucifixion was decreed and purposed by God from all eternity and in time came to pass according to His wise and unchanging decrees (Acts 2:23, Gal. 4:4-6, Rev. 13:8). God from all eternity purposed to put away sin by the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross at Calvary; that is the reason why we preach Christ crucified as the sinners only hope for salvation (Acts 4:12, Rom 5:6-10, 1 Cor. 2:2).
All this was done that the scripture might be fulfilled (Isa. 7:14). His name is not only Saviour, but God our Saviour. His name Emmanuel means God with us. Both Mary and Joseph and every believer rejoices in God our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 1:46-47).
Someone of the past said, “In creation we see God above us (Psalm 19). In the law we see God against us (Gal. 3:10). Only in the gospel do we see God with us, God for us (Rom. 8:31) and God in us (Col. 1:27).”
We give thanks unto the Lord for such a great Saviour we have who cannot fail to accomplish all God’s purpose in saving all His people from all their sins; in such a way that honors His holy justice, satisfies His holy law, magnifies His sovereign love and mercy and glorifies every attribute of God (Isa. 45:21-22; Rom. 3:24-26).
