“Coffee with Christ”

(John 6:64-67)

“But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?”

God knows the truth about if faith. whether it is genuine or whether it is spurious. There are many who have escaped the pollutions of the world and gone back because the way of God was too narrow. Like Lot’s wife, who had left Sodom physically and yet her heart was still there. The heart is deceitful and wicked, who can know it? The heart of man is “spiritually” dead. Except a man be born again, “given unto him of my Father” he CAN NOT COME to me. What does knowing this do to you? Will ye also go away? Will you follow Him, but from afar? Half heartedly?
