I want to begin by writing that the World System is not some esoteric, nebulous system conjured up by religious zealots in some secret private corner of their belief system (2Pe 1:20). Jude used the phrase, Way of Cain, which is found nowhere else in Scripture (Jude 11). I believe that Cain was the author of civilization with both its political-economic-religious axises as he built the first cities (Ge 4:17). This required laws to control sinful behavior lest it degenerate into chaos such as he left in his wake after murdering Abel (Ge 4:8). Cain’s descendants laid the foundations for civilization to flourish (Ge 4:19-22). Cain’s system grew until evil had nearly extinguished God’s truth (Ge 4:23-24; 6:5-8). This was picked up again after the Flood when Nimrod established the first Postdiluvian Civilization which separated after God intervened at Babel (Ge 10:8-10; 11:1-9) {Nimrod Revived Cain’s Tyranny.}. As people separated they retained the forms of this civilization. Satan has been refining various civilizations to once again overcome God’s intervention and develop a single civilization to squelch the Gospel Truth from the earth.

It is important for you to understand Satan’s techniques. They are not new but the labels I use are newly minted, After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90’s; let me add, and Beyond {What Are the Homosexual Tactics of Desensitization, Jamming, & Conversion? 1989.}. Our study of False Teachers by Jude in his Bible book points to how Satan uses these very techniques in Cain’s Way, society, making it even worse! Americans have been the subject of this intense propagandist approach especially through their entertainment system: Movies, Television, Music and literature. Whereas the British were the greatest purveyors of nation-state and societal propaganda via literature: Shakespeare, Chaucer, etc., the technology advanced exponentially in the 2oth century and America subsumed Great Britain’s role in leading the World System. Let us look at each technique in turn that converts the real image of evil into an illusion of goodness.

What is Desensitization? It is the technique of link one’s goal which is evil to that which is good (Is 5:20-23). “When this is done, the picture labeled “queer” is aggressively painted over; prior images of dirty old queens or coarsened dykes are overlaid with pleasing new images of all-American and Miss American types.” (emphasis in the original) {ibid.}.” Mass media in the 1990s injected stories of beautiful or handsome gays coming out of the closet; older as well as modern people the masses admired such as Rock Hudson. AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome), associated primarily with the LGBTQA+ morphed into tragedy affecting everyone through a tightly controlled government narrative that continues today. Disney built his theme park(s) to associate America with a past that never existed in which pirates were goodly, Southern racism was romanticized and the future’s promise equalized through technology. After Disney’s death the corporation became the single biggest purveyor of LGBTQA+ propaganda. Today, it injects Wokeness into every single project including its theme parks {Elon Musk: ‘Wokeness Is Divisive, Exclusionary, and Hateful’. Townhall.}. An internet search of Wokeness shows its pervasiveness into nearly every aspect of society. There are siren calls of alarm but these voices are few, far between and quietly being extinguished through Jamming.

What is Jamming? “Jamming makes use of the rules of Associative Conditioning (the psychological process whereby, when two things are repeatedly juxtaposed, one’s feelings about one thing are transferred to the other) and Direct Emotional Modeling (the inborn tendency of human beings to feel what they perceive others to be feeling.) {See above, What are the…Tactics…}.” LGBTQA+ shrewdly changed the association of homosexuality’s reality with images of good. Equally shrewdly they linked opposition of their agenda to images of racism, fascism, violence and intolerance. These terms are iconic and even overused today by the Wokecommunity pushing their socialistic Critical Theory Agenda until it becomes the new normal.

Jamming occurs in commercials, music, art, television shows and movies. It is the active process by which evil is associated with good; however, if one resists the propaganda the government’s legal system uses force to suppress one’s voice-Discrimination laws for example. Many well-meaning people seek to escape to a simpler time, which never existed, through programs, music and such from an earlier period. However, this simply recycles one through the Desensitizing process until many are Converted to the new, not new, norm.

What is Conversion? “Both Desensitization and Jamming, though extremely useful, are mere preludes to our highest—though necessarily very long-range—goal, which is Conversion. It isn’t enough that antigay bigots should become confused about us, or even indifferent to us—we are safest, in the long run, if we can actually make them like us. Conversion aims at just this {ibid.}.” Those who claim to hold Conservative views today would be shocked to learn they have no understanding of Old Conservatism. By contrast, liberalism was the process of moving from government Control while today it is the process embracing government Control in every facet of society. The more people seek escapism into the glorious past, the more they carry their modern programming with them to be reinforced. There is no returning to what was to recapture a dimly remembered past; your return has already changed your past perceptions into modern reality. Thus, when returning to something that appears familiar, you reset your perceptions based upon your current understanding. You have made the past in the image of the present until both are indistinguishable; you are becoming Converted! You are the best active agent in your own Conversion!

Truth be told, people really do not want to be different. Sin forces people into alliances that accentuate their sameness (Ro 1:32). Not their sameness in God’s Truth but their sameness of worldviews. They gain comfort, reassurance, that they are OK when surrounded by those who reinforce the same myths. They listen to those who tell them what they wish to hear (2Ti 4:3-4). They do not want to be bothered with Truth for that would make them different and prone to attack (2Ti 3:1-5). In point of fact it is the logical fallacy appealing to the majority; if we all believe something to be true then it must be the truth! Right? Right?

Christ warned that the Gospel would set family members against each other; not because the Gospel demands forced conversions; it does not (Mt 10:34-39)! The Lost demand that you be as them or face ostracization (Mt 5:10-12). The Old Testament saints faced this personal violence even to death rather than give up the Truth (He 11:32-38). Stephen, Paul and our greatest example, Christ, faced death rather than give up the Truth (Ac 7:56-60; 2Ti 4:6-8).

Each Christian is a missionary those they interact with whether they be friends, co-workers or family members. We may be the only opportunity to observe one who lives the Gospel Truth. What do they see? Do they see a difference in you or do they see themselves in you? Paul said to live at peace with people in so far as you are able; he did not mean to walk like the world so that one becomes indistinguishable from the World (Ro 12:18). God does not require us to criticize the Lost but neither should we placate them. Christians are different because our new nature is of God and is radically different from what Satan is building. His reality is a siren song to our old nature with which we are born. Nostalgia is simply self-jamming reinforcement of our fleshly nature to suppress one’s new nature; if one is saved (He 5:11-14).
