(John 9:1-3)
“And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

This is quite the amazing answer! Certainly we know that suffering came into the world because of mans sin. We also know that this man nor his parents were sinless! “For all have sinned and come short the Glory of God. There is none righteous, no, not one!” But, there is a deeper purpose behind the suffering that sin has brought into the world. It was ordained by God for the Glory of God. That the works of God should be made manifest IN him! That is the purpose of God when He allowed sin to come into this world, that HE might be magnified in HIS works of righteousness. Sin and suffering allows God to be Glorified in His works of Love, Mercy, Graciousness, Meekness, and also in His works of Wrath, Judgement, Justice, Vengeance, Holiness, and Sovereignty! This is true not only for the blind man in John 9:1-3, it is true for every human being on the face of the earth today! (For the Glory of God alone) It ain’t about you!
