(Romans 3:10-12)
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

The wage of sin is death. The lost are D.E.A.D. dead. To seek after God is a righteous act. The lost, who have not received regeneration, are dead and cannot seek after God. They have no desire to. To understand Spiritual things one has to be Spiritually alive, (reborn). The lost “cannot” understand for they are Spiritually dead. The lost are totally unprofitable to themselves as far as salvation goes or the ability to please God for there is NONE that doth good, NO, NOT EVEN ONE! We seek after God only after God has already found and regenerated us. We then are truly free from the bondage of sin and able to trust Christ.
