God has purposed to bring to nothing all the vain pomp of man. Woe unto us, if we glory in man. The glory of the Lord shall stand and nothing else.

Therefore, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.” --1 Cor 1:31

Of Him are we in Christ, who was made wisdom, including the whole scheme and provision of salvation, which is the free gift of eternal life: It is so free that we did nothing to distinguish ourselves, and He forgave us of horrible sins through blood atonement, when Jesus became our substitute. He entered the covenant with God ON OUR BEHALF, and then He taught us the truth with irresistible force! He saved us from sin's penalty and power, and one day from its presence by Himself!

“For He will save His people from their sins.” --Matt 1:21

May God help us to understand that praise, honor, and dominion belong to Him - worshipping Him with fear and trembling and rejoicing to glorify God by giving our life as living sacrifices [Rom 12:1]. Let us praise Him by bringing others to Christ with humility and integrity. Let us be about our Father's business through the worthiness of Christ, trusting Him in difficulty as our all-sufficient provider. Let us preach Him, trust His grace, and lean on His wisdom.
