I have narrations going back to about 2011 that are not full narrations. But there is some good material that I am uploading. Often I have started a narration and thought I would come back to it, and never did. For me to do a good job I really have to be affected with what I am reading. Many times I have stopped just a few minutes in and knew it was not going well. But I didn't just erase the audio or delete it. Some of these may affect others other than they did me. So I am uploading them. '
The traffic this month, August, has exceeded by 10,000 views the best month yet. This is because I started narrating the New Testament and was not expecting much traffic. I was pleasantly surprised. I went from the American Standard Version of 1901 to the World English Bible based on the ASV 1901. The reason is that the King James has been narrated numerous times.
After 36 years of narrating I have transitioned to no longer narrate in old English. Even the Puritan works are modernized on the fly as I read. I want the content to be very accessible by all. This is also why I went to the World English Bible. The ASV was not pleasant to read. They didn't speak that way in 1901, why translate into Elizabethan English?
Once again, I am so thankful to my friend Jesse in Saskatchewan who funds this site. I am overwhelmed at the kindness of his family to me.
