“O dinheiro ganho com desonestidade diminuirá, mas quem o ajunta aos poucos terá cada vez mais” (Pv 13.11).
O segundo maior assalto a banco do mundo ocorreu entre 6 e 7 de agosto de 2005 no Banco Central do Brasil, em Fortaleza. Após três meses de escavação de um túnel de 89 metros, os ladrões passaram um final de semana carregando a quantia de quase R$ 170 milhões. Apesar de o roubo ter sido extremamente bem sucedido, o mesmo não pode ser dito do futuro dos bandidos. Roubados, extorquidos, espancados ou mortos, eles não puderam aproveitar seu lucro desonesto.
Quem dera eles tivessem dado crédito ao provérbio de Salomão que fala do “dinheiro ganho com desonestidade”. Em lugar de melhorar a vida dos larápios, o rei diz que ele “diminuirá”. É como se dissesse: o que vem fácil, vai fácil. As razões para isso são muitas. A principal delas é que o justo Deus conhece cada tramoia e golpe e os reprova, reservando um momento de punir tais crimes. Outras razões são a ilusão de que o dinheiro não acaba, a cobiça de outros bandidos ao redor e a aplicação da lei por meio da polícia e dos tribunais que, apesar de nem sempre conseguirem deter os criminosos, têm uma boa porcentagem de prisões e condenações dos desonestos. Brincar com Deus e com a lei não é uma boa fonte de diversão. E isso não vale somente para grandes bandidos, mas também para pessoas comuns que querem passar a perna nos outros ou burlar obrigações financeiras.
Por outro lado, há também aquele que “ajunta aos poucos”. Não é fácil, mas ele tem um objetivo que o leva ao trabalho e à escolha dos caminhos corretos que honram o Senhor e que respeitam a lei e as pessoas. Por isso, ainda que junte pouco de cada vez, ele não corre o risco de ter de devolvê-lo, nem de sofrer consequências ruins, pois o que juntou ele ganhou honestamente. E são impressionantes as quantias que podem ser poupadas com trabalho, constância, dedicação, paciência e sabedoria. O resultado final é que gradativamente ele “terá cada vez mais”. Agora você pode escolher: ganhar fácil e perder fácil ou trabalhar por algo duradouro que será desfrutado por você e por sua família no futuro.
