God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Psalm 67:1-4
The Preaching of the Word Of God
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? (Rom. 10:13-15).
THE PREACHING OF THE WORD of God by chosen servants of God is the ordained means for the conversion of His elect (1 Cor. 1:17-21). NOT that the Word READ is not effectual; it certainly is. But the promise is especially concerning the WORD PREACHED AND HEARD (Rom. 10:17; John. 5:24).
This alone stresses the importance of a regular and faithful attendance where the gospel is preached. It ought also to burden the heart of the preacher to be serious and sincere before God in preaching the GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

"For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." (1 Corinthians 15:21-22).
Death is the result of sin. While sin was unknown, such things as sickness, pain, and death were unknown. SIN caused the great change. Medicine does its best, but all it can do is treat the symptoms. As long as sin is in us, we will have sickness, pain and death. Advertisements tell us that there is no reason we should ever have a pain or sickness, that there is a pill to take care of every one of these. But, our problem is sin in our heart. We know that evil is in this world. The only thing we deny is that there is evil in us. Death reigns in us. Physical death, spiritual death, and eternal death are the results of sin. The Lord Jesus Christ has made an end of sin, and has destroyed the power of death. Those who "believe in Him, though they were dead, yet shall they live." He is the Resurrection of the dead, and the Life of the living. He raises the soul from the death of sin to a life of righteousness. Sin no longer has dominion over us. We know "that in ourselves there dwells no good thing." We know we will still die. But we know also that "death has lost its sting," for "the sting of death is sin." But, sin has been taken away by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

GOD ONLY SAVES THE UN-PEOPLE!
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” – Romans 5:6
God only saves the Un-People:
The unprofitable
The ungodly
The unrighteous
The undeserving

Light Afflictions
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Cor. 4:17).
How can the believer when under heavy burdens and afflictions consider our trials and burdens to be light? They can only be light for the believer resting in the Lord’s good and sovereign providence; knowing they work for us not against us (Rom. 8:28). Burdens and heartaches for the unbeliever outside of Christ are unbearable and devastating. Paul describes our present state of heartache, trouble and sorrow as light when compared to our future state of exceeding and eternal glory (John 16:33).
Now how can we say that our afflictions are light?
They are light compared to what we deserve. We deserve nothing but judgment and the wrath of God for our sins against Him. But the Lord delights to show mercy to sinners (Rom. 6:23; Psalm 103:10).
They are light compared to what many other believers have suffered for the gospel. Many have been severely tortured and gave their lives for the gospel sake (Heb. 11:35; Heb. 12:4).
They are light compared to what the Lord Jesus Christ suffered for our sins. No man suffered like He did (Isa. 53:4-6; Lam. 1:12). No man endured the wrath of God without any mixture of mercy and died for the sins of others like our blessed Lord did to bring in everlasting salvation (1 Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 3:18).
They are light when compared with the blessings we enjoy in Christ right now by His sovereign grace (Rom. 8:32-35; Eph. 1:3). We enjoy the fullness, blessedness and completeness of salvation in Christ right now (1 Cor. 1:30; Eph. 1:7; Col. 2:9-10).
They are light afflictions compared to our future and eternal glory. “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Rom. 8:17; Rev. 21:1-5).
