Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? (Luke 12:24)
Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. (Luke 12:27)
12. We must Consider One Another.
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: (Hebrews 10:24)
13. Most Important of all let us Consider Christ.
The book of Hebrews gives us 3 primary reasons why we should Consider Christ.
A. The Faithfulness of Christ.
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; (Hebrews 3:1) Heb 3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
B. The Greatness of Christ.
We find this under a type. Melchisedec.
Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. (Hebrews 7:4)
We need to be careful that no one takes the place of Christ in the Church.
C. The Perseverance of Christ.
Do we ever feel like giving up or throwing the hat in?
What is the solution?
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. (Hebrews 12:3)
14. We need to Consider the future!
O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end! (Deuteronomy 32:29)
15. To refuse to Consider the ways of God is synonymous with rejection of God himself!
Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways: (Job 34:27)
16. We have a solemn responsibility to the next generation.
Read Psalm 48: 9-14.
Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following. (Psalms 48:13)
17. In order to properly declare what God has done we must have properly Considered it ourselves!
And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. (Psalms 64:9)
18. When the enemies of God seek to destroy us, what is our response to be?
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies. (Psalms 119:95)
