“Indeed,” declares the LORD, “I am against those who prophesy false dreams and retell them to lead My people astray with their reckless lies. It was not I who sent them or commanded them, and they are of no benefit at all to these people,” declares the LORD. vs32

The Lord is against the false prophets! Say what you will, “We must not judge,” “Touch not the Lord’s anointed,” “Leave them alone,” etc. God is against them with consuming fire, and He will have His vengeance. The day is coming when every false prophet will be ashamed, preaching peace where there was no peace… deceiving the people and leading them to destruction.

This is what the LORD of Hosts says:

“Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you.

They are filling you with false hopes.

They speak visions from their own minds,

not from the mouth of the LORD.

They keep saying to those who despise Me,

‘The LORD says that you will have peace,’

and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart,

‘No harm will come to you.’ [vs16-17]

You and I must beware of false prophets! Guard your soul. If you don’t discern them, then you’re deceived already, because the blind lead the blind into a ditch [Matt 15:14].

We must have discernment to know truth from error, or we’ll swallow poison, thinking it’s medicine.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. [1 John 4:1]

We must know salvation by grace. John Gill quotes Austin saying that Pelagius - that arch heretic of man’s free will - used the term “grace” to disguise his works religion. He said what the people wanted to hear - that it is according to their own will - and he said it in a way that seemed biblical [Rom 9:16]!

This diabolical deceit of Satan must be punished, and the time is coming, so flee from them now. Do not be afraid of what they do to you: they cannot kill the soul.

Secondly, flee to the true prophets of God! Give up the waste and garbage! Choose something better. God calls us away from lies to lead us to truth… from Satan to Christ… and from lesser pleasures to full satisfaction of soul.

Believe the gospel while you can and commit yourself to Him. Believe on Him for newness of life and consecrate YOURSELF to the Son of God.

So if anyone cleanses himself of what is unfit, will be a vessel for honor: sanctified, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work. [2 Tim 2:21]

The promise is not health, wealth, and prosperity; it is a new life of saving others with pleasures from God’s Spirit, nearness to Christ, and cleanness; it is to have a pure conscience and holiness - to walk with God in saving power, so that you can reach others in sincerity and truth. Receive God’s word and be filled.

Thirdly, the word of God does not profit if twisted [Jer 23:32].

It was not I who sent them or commanded them, and they are of no benefit at all to these people,” declares the LORD.

Do not say, “These are well meaning people; it is OK.” They will not profit the people at all! They will not deliver from wrath, nor will they give peace, so hope is built entirely upon a lie, and when the storm comes it is shaken!

How many right now are fearful, looking at Kenneth Copeland like a fool, but still following him blindly? Wake up. Deliver yourself. Get out while you can, and tell these people they are mistaken. Tell them about Christ. His word is a hammer, and it breaks the lies of men, breaks the heart of man, and gives eternal life and peace.

Let the prophet who has a dream retell it, but let him who has My word speak it truthfully. For what is straw compared to grain?” declares the LORD. “Is not My word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that smashes a rock?” [Jer 23:28-29]

People must have the truth, and we’re here to give it! Do not give in to conspiracy theories and cultural critiques. Give them Christ because their world is crumbling, lest God harden them. False prophets have not helped them, and it is not enough just to say, “I’m Christian.” We must have sound doctrine!
