The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous will stand. (Proverbs 12:7)

Whirlwinds whirl us all. Even the righteous can be blown from one state to the next.

We are blown about by the present pandemic. Our lives are inconvenienced. Our stocks are down. We can get the corona virus, and die.

But for the righteous there is no condemnation in a corona virus. Or in jobs being taken away. Or in anything in life or death. Nothing can condemn us. God is for us. We are by grace in Christ Jesus. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God in Him (Romans 8).

At the end of the day, therefore, when this virus scurries back into the hole from which it came, or we are all vaccinated, and things return to normal, or when the virus mutates, and no one can stop it, and the economy tanks, and the socialists take over…

One house shall be standing. It is the house of the people of God. It is the houses of believers and their seed. The Church shall stand.

In that Day too. When the Lord returns to whirl away the wicked to the place of no more, to hell forever. God’s people shall stand.

Because of the everlasting foundation. Because of the blood of Jesus. Because of the Rock Jesus.

The solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His…” (2 Timothy 2:19)

Beloved: Believe the Rock. Be on the Rock. Build on the Rock. Rejoice on the Rock.
