“Who, like Me, can announce the future? Let him say so and make a case before Me, since I have established an ancient people. Let these gods declare the coming things, and what will take place.” vs7

Prophecy is one of the chief ways God differentiates Himself from idols. Man made gods can never predict the future accurately. One false prophet, Kenneth Copeland, received a “vision from the Lord,” he says. The Lord told him that CODV-19 (you read it as he stated it, as “directly” from the Lord,) would not last as long as people think. No time frame was given, but the audience cheered approval.

False prophets are quick to tell us general stuff. “Somebody is going to get rich!” One man, in my hearing, said, “Put your hand on your ailing body part, and the Lord told me someone is getting healed on the way home.” Yes, safely out of the reach of verification. I did notice, however, that a man had a crooked arm, a limb obviously twisted. He did not bother, but gave general approval to the prophet’s charms. I asked them both as we stood together, “Why don’t you show your power. This man’s arm is obviously twisted. Can you heal it?” The surprise of being challenged and the inability to respond was all over his face. He is a false prophet promising nothing real with no real power.

The silence of false prophets today is one of the most refreshing things to come out of covid-19. They do not, by and large, open their mouths to say they can heal it! They quarantine like everyone else and hide from the infected. Do you think the older miracles workers will dare risk their life in Italy or places ravaged by the virus? No, they keep their distance. I’m sure they’ll come out after it’s over, etc, but for now it is QUIET ON THE SET, and those who have God’s written word are getting a hearing! Many who’ve followed these conmen are seeing for themselves that “Daddy G.O. the great Prophetic Apostle,” is utterly powerless. He cannot tell the government, “Keep the church open. I have verifiably healed 10 people with coronavirus, and it will not come near us!”

This is sad for many who’ve put their hope in the wrong place, but don’t you see the mercy? God in mercy has shaken us, exposed the nakedness of fraudulent peddlers of fake power, and given us space for repentance [Rev 2:21]! God is merciful in the coronavirus to open our eyes that they can do nothing, though they’ve claimed power and masqueraded in good times. Let them stand up. Prophesy the future. Do good or do evil. Heal people verifiably, or keep quiet forever.

Do not hear them and heed them. He says,

“Do not be startled or afraid. Have I not told you and declared it long ago? You are my witnesses [to truth]! Is there any God but Me? There is no other Rock; I do not know any.” vs8

Only those preaching the SPIRITUAL nature of the kingdom have the true God. Only those declaring His stripes have healed us from sin, reconciled us to God, and made us able to live righteously have truly interpreted the verse [1 Pet 2:24-25]. Only those who promise you God in your troubles - whether rich or poor - have prophesied rightly from His word. Only those who’ve said, “Live for Christ,” have preached correctly... not those who’ve said, “Live for yourself, and use Christ to get it.”

The fraud is up. The scam is unraveled. The hustle is now exposed.
