One of the greatest pleasures I had this past week was observing people who are allowing God to work in their heart and life. When God is allowed to work in someone’s life it is evident on their entire countenance. From the joy they have in walking with God to the peace that is evident in their heart, you can tell that God is upon the throne of their heart and ruling. The opposite is also true as people hold on to the vices and strongholds in their lives and do not submit to the Lord in their daily lives. I thank God that He is so faithful and we have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit with us each and every day. Please continue to pray for each of the college students and families as they come back towards GSBC. Many of them have hundreds of miles to cover and we sure desire that God would give them great safety and a sweet time of fellowship as they travel as a family. We have a wonderful group of young adults here at the church that have a heart for serving the Lord with their lives. Let’s be sure to encourage them over the summer as they remain faithful to God. Happy Mother’s Day to each and every mother that is here. We are so thankful for you and the eternal impact that you have on the next generation. There is always a need for godly mothers to make a difference. You are prayed for, loved, and appreciated today and every day.
