How glorious it is to see and hear Christ preached in all of the scriptures. How glorious it is to know who Christ is and what He accomplished on the cross, directly from the wording of the verses that God has given. The stories, the letters, the warnings, The exhortations, the rebukes; In every line we see Christ. Do the scriptures have a literal application? Yes they do. Should we teach the literal application? Yes we should. But it must always be in light of “the things concerning Himself.”
