Sometimes in life, your problems and failures can seem overwhelming. However, here is something to think about: just as Jesus’ death was in the future, and He was already certain of overcoming the world, so were all your problems in the future. Now today, your problems might be past, they might be right now, or they might be in your future. But when Jesus spoke these words, all of our failures were in the future.

When people that are in Christ fail, it doesn’t mean that he says, “Forget you – I was patient with you the first time and the second time, but not the third time.”

What must be remembered is that God’s patience is unlimited. He is a God that has such compassion and such mercy. I’m not saying that failure is ok when you do not try, but there are going to be times when you do your best and still fail. When that happens, if you admit your failure, and you want His help, He is there for you.

Why did Jesus come? Why did He hang on a cross and die? Because He loves you. This is the key – God loves you. How do we overcome failure? It is by properly understanding how much God cares about you. He loves you even when you are afraid and even when you fail. The Bible says to be bold and believe that with Christ you can overcome any challenge that comes your way. If you’re walking with Him, you can achieve great things; it is as good as done.
