Let’s be honest. There is truly nothing more frustrating than running late for work and realizing your keys are missing. For being such tiny objects, keys can cause our day to go well, or leave us feeling completely helpless.

It seems that in our daily lives we are always searching for keys. Often, we forget where we set them last, and usually they end up right under our nose. The same is true in our Christian life. Whether we are seeking the key to finding peace or the key to building successful relationships, we spend hours trying to find it on our own. The world offers us many keys: the key to being successful in life, the key to mending our broken heart, or the key to working our way to heaven. We grasp at the countless keys the world offers, only to find that none unlock our problems. When our life seems locked, we forget that the true keys are right within reach.

Believer, the only keys we need to unlock a super abundant life are found in God’s Word. Scripture contains the keys to unlock any door we can’t walk through. More often than not, we pound on life’s closed doors and block our own progress rather than just searching for the keys in the Word of God.
