The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Psalm 7:8-11
“Woe is unto me if I preach not the Gospel” (1 Cor. 9:16)
Any sermon that does not have Christ in the beginning, the middle, and the end is a mistake in conception and a crime in execution. And I heartily say, “Amen!” The apostle Paul never said, “Woe is unto me if I preach not”, but “Woe is unto me if I preach not the Gospel.” And he told the Corinthians, “I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” Any man who stands before men and women in the name of God and does not plainly, clearly, and consistently preach the Gospel of God’s glory and grace in Christ Jesus is the worst sort of a criminal! He is a deceiver and murderer of the souls of men and women!

Take Your Burdens to the Lord and Leave them There
I am trying to learn what I have attempted to teach – that we are to take our burdens, cares, anxieties, and needs to the Lord and LEAVE THEM THERE. Instead of worrying and fretting myself about all the things that concern this church, television, missionaries, conferences, personalities, and a dozen other things, I need to pray about them, do what God enables me to do, and leave it all at His feet.
If those works are not His work, then let them all go to pieces! If they are His work, then He will attend to them and bless them. It is wonderful how smoothly things go when we trust the Lord. Our worrying and fretting cause the problems. When we come here to worship, pray, preach, and fellowship, everyone is lifted, our burdens are laid down, and we find sweet rest in Christ. But, when we leave the services, we seem to say, “I have left my burden inside; I’d better go and take it up again.”
This is NOT the way to TRUST GOD! The way to trust Him is to take our burdens to Him and LEAVE THEM THERE!

Before Moses had to stand before the throne of Pharaoh on the sinful ground of Egypt, he had to stand before The burning fire of JEHOVAH, and had to hear the ALMIGHTY “I AM” cry: “Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off of thy feet, for the place wherein Thou standest is holy ground.”
After Moses knew the horror and terror of standing before the Holy Judge of the earth, who holds the keys of hell and death in His hands; who is not only able to kill the body, but is able to destroy both soul and body in hell! After that…he did not fear what man could do to him! Standing before Pharaoh was easy!

Who Maketh Thee To Differ?
As I was reading this portion of scripture recently Genesis 4: 1-8, my first thought was, “who maketh thee to differ?”(1 Cor. 4:7). Cain and Abel were brothers, they had the same parents. Both were born with the same nature. Raised in the same house, heard the same message of grace. So, what was the difference between them? Why did Abel believe God and Cain remain a rebel, though very religious? Only one answer- GRACE. Grace is always the difference between lost and saved, between faith and unbelief. The difference between Noah and the rest of his wicked generation was- GRACE. In every case where a sinner is saved it is always GRACE.

ADDICTED TO THE GOSPEL
“I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints)” (I Cor. 16:15).
The word addicted means to surrender one’s self habitually, or to become dependent upon, or to be very enthusiastic about. We usually use this word in a negative way, but here in reference to the believer it is very positive, “theyhaveaddicted themselves to the ministry.”
Believers have surrendered to Christ, submitted to Him, His rule and reign (Ps. 110:3; Acts 2:36; Phil. 2:9-10). Believers are totally dependent upon Christ for all of their salvation (1 Cor. 1:30; Phil. 4:19). Believers are very enthusiastic about the good news of God’s mercy to sinners in Christ (Luke 18:14; 1 Tim. 1:15). Their confession of faith is “He has done all things well” (Mark 7:37), in creation (Gen. 1:31), in providence (Rom. 11:36), and in salvation (John 17:2-4; 19:30).
