As I write this, a winter storm is hitting Ohio. Businesses are closing in the middle of the day. The sheriff’s office has issued warnings about hazardous roads. We are so thankful we have an all-wheel-drive vehicle to make it to church!

As bad as this is, can you imagine how bad it will be during the Great Tribulation? This will be nothing. Much of the world will be destroyed. Many people will lose their lives. Businesses won’t just be closed; their buildings will be gone. There will be “a time of trouble, such as never was.”

But the joy for us as Christians is that we won’t be here (1 Thes. 4:17). Christ will have caught us away in the Rapture. While that’s a source of great comfort for us personally, it begs the question: what about those who are left behind?

Well, let’s leave as few behind as possible. Let’s consider the urgency of the situation. The Rapture could happen at any moment. The Tribulation will start shortly after the Rapture when the Antichrist signs the peace treaty with Israel. And for 7 years, while we are rejoicing in heaven, the world will experience the worst hard time ever.

Pray that God softens your heart to the predicament of the lost. The unsaved will be left on the earth to experience all this hardship and danger. Let’s reach them while we still can. Carry heaven tracts and give them away. Most of all, have such a soft heart from walking with the Lord that we naturally take advantage of every opportunity to reach others with the loving message of the clear gospel. Let’s do our best not to leave anyone behind!
