Today’s Scripture: He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32
A missionary in India was walking along the Ganges River. He came across a woman standing at the river with a very sick looking infant in one arm. In the other hand, she was holding the hand of a beautiful, young, little boy. The missionary stopped and asked her what was wrong.
She looked at him and said, “Well, my little baby is sick, and my gods require a sacrifice in order for her to get well.”
The missionary’s heart broke. He didn’t want to see her do something so heinous and so terrible. He started telling her how much God loves her and cares for her. He explained that God doesn’t require this type of sacrifice, but rather, God allowed His only Son to die in her place. The gods that require this type of sacrifice aren’t true gods.
Sadly, the lady didn’t listen; she rejected what he had to say. Later, the missionary passed by the lady and all she had with her was the little sickly infant. She had tossed her boy into the river as a sacrifice.
That is a very difficult story to read. It is hard for us to understand, but she did it because she said that the gods required her to give her best.
Even to this day, there are people who are so lost that they believe the gods require child sacrifice. History is littered with such stories. Of course in America, we have murdered millions of innocent babies ourselves.
How do we change all this? How do we give the true God of love, compassion, and mercy the best? We must go out and tell others that God loves them. God doesn’t require anything from us to be saved. He gave everything to save us. That is the best news in the world. The Gospel is the only thing that can give hope in a hopeless world. If we want to make a difference in this world, share the Gospel.

prophecy concerning the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ has been destroyed in many modern versions. Abraham told to offer- Jn 1:29 tells of the true Lambs manifestation proclaimed.
The answer is found in Hebrews 11:17-19 which reads, “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.” (KJV)
In the 15th & 17th chapters of Genesis promises were made by the LORD regarding Isaac; in the 22nd chapter of Genesis Abraham, knowing what God had promised, prepared to offer up Isaac. In reply to Isaac's question about where was the lamb for the offering, Abraham had stated, “My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for the burnt offering.” And that's exactly what happened! A ram caught in the thicket became the offering in the place of Isaac!
