A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame. Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner. There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches. Proverbs 13:5-7

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”
(Jeremiah 29:11).
God’s thoughts toward His people are never evil, no matter how it may look to the flesh. God’s thoughts are like Himself, they are eternal and can never change so when we suffer a time of trial it does not mean that God has changed His mind about us. Our bodies will be troubled but the souls of God’s elect are kept in peace because God’s purpose for His people is peace through the blood of Christ.
My dear brothers and sisters expect your life to end in peace with God. That is not presumption. That is just expecting God to do what He promised to do. God’s thoughts are God’s purpose for His people. Every believer can expect an end of peace because peace is the purpose of God who cannot fail to accomplish His will.

NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH
(Philippians 3:3)
All false religionists, even though they might profess Jesus Christ to be their Savior, put their trust in something they have done; something they believe enables God to accept them. In doing so, they are saying that what Jesus Christ did was not enough. They openly and publicly declare that they saved themselves, blatantly denying that Jesus Christ is their Savior. Brethren, “God has made us accepted in the Beloved” (in Christ). “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace”(unmerited favor) (Eph.1:6-7). When God gives His gift of faith to a hell-deserving sinner, we not only enter into His rest, we also cease from our own works as God did from His; giving our Great Triune God all the glory for His unspeakable gift (Heb.4:10; I Cor.1:26-31). The Best News
"To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous (tiresome); but for you it is safe." (Philippians 3:1).
I rejoice to repeat the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ over and over again. I certainly have no better message to preach nor better tidings to bring.
The good news of God's grace to us in Christ is the BEST news one can hear, and to hear it over and over again will:
1. Keep our hearts and thoughts on Him who is the fountain of life!
2. Be a constant guard against false teachers and their Christ-less message!
3. Keep us from self-righteousness and other errors as we "remember the pit from which we were digged" (Isaiah 51:1) and the One who lifted us out.

Christ in the Scriptures
“To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins” (Acts 10:43).
Before anyone can have Christ, they must first have the scriptures. Without the Bible there can be no knowledge of Christ the Lord. It is only in God’s holy word that Christ is fully revealed, “in the volume of the book it is written of Him”.
All the teaching is concerning Him, in fact it is called “the doctrine of Christ” (2 John 9).
All the prophecies are fulfilled in him, all the law is fulfilled by him, all the ceremonies find their fulfillment in him, and every sacrifice pointed to his one great sacrifice.
The offices of Prophet, Priest, and King are combined in him. It is no wonder then that the scriptures declare that “Christ is all in all” (Col.3: 11).
God Almighty is revealed in Christ Jesus the Lord, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily (Col.2: 9).Our Lord said; “Neither knoweth any man the Father save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal him” (Mt. 11: 27).
All the “promises in Him are yea and amen.”His name is the first mentioned in the New Testament (Mt. 1:1) and the last, (Rev.22: 21).
Men cannot trust an unknown or unrevealed Christ, and the only book in the world THE BIBLE, The Holy Scriptures can make him known! But sadly all most preachers and people see from the scriptures is “God has a wonderful plan for your life,” and if you will follow his plan for you, all will be well with you and yours. All that God has for any sinner who is outside of hell is found in Christ His Son. “All spiritual blessings are given us in heavenly places in Christ” (Eph.1: 3).
The average preacher and person is looking for everything in the scriptures but Christ, they are looking for Laws to keep, works to be done, conditions to be fulfilled. But thank God, “Ye are COMPLETE in HIM, and, we are ACCEPTED in the Beloved”.
