The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.Proverbs 12:15-17
Justification In Christ
David’s sin in the matter of Bathsheba and Uriah brought devastating consequences to David for the rest of his life. The believer cannot sin without there being consequences in this life. We should be afraid of sin, not only because it is against God, but the trouble it brings us in the commission of it. That is why John said, “These things write I unto you that ye sin not.”
But thank God, that sin that caused David so many consequences in this life was put away. “The Lord hath put away thy sin” (II Sam 12:13). Because Christ bare that sin in His own body on the tree and put it away, David stood before God having never committed that sin. What was true of David is true of every believer. Sin brings consequences in this life. But thank God there are no consequences in the world to come. The Bible calls it justification.

Blessed by God’s Choice
We preach election because there is not a single blessing that comes to us from the hand of our Redeemer that is not stamped with the hand of God's electing love. The Scriptures say, God hath blessed us according as He hath chosen us (Eph. 1:3-4). Again, He hath chosen us that we should be holy (Eph. 1:4). Again, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee that thou shouldst know His will (Acts 22:14). It is not in ourselves that these blessings are contained. We have them because of OUR UNION WITH CHRIST, and we are united with Christ because of the Father's divine and sovereign choice.

Walk In Him
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith... (Colossians 2:6-7).
Have we received Christ Jesus, the Lord? Then let us continue in Him just as we began in Him - relying entirely upon His grace for our acceptance with God and access to His mercy. Just as, at the first, we looked for all things in Him, so let us still seek no other treasury of Divine blessing other than the Son of God. Let us look for no "higher life" than to be found in Him, not having our own righteousness but His righteousness received by faith alone. Let us look for no second work of grace as a supplement to the grace we have already been given in Christ. As He first captivated our hearts, let us continue to be captivated by Him consumed with a desire to know Him and finding no greater joy than to learn of Him.
This is the good life. All else is a lingering death! All else is a casting aside of wonderful things for worthless things. All else is to live like a slave rather than as a son! Pastor Joe Terrell
THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Oh, what good news the gospel of Jesus Christ declares to guilty sinners. We are by birth and nature children of wrath even as others; loving darkness rather than the Light of the truth (John 3:19; Eph. 2:12). However, by the marvelous power of God through the gospel of Christ (Rom. 1:16), God has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (Col. 1:13); that we should show forth the praises of Him Who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (2 Cor. 4:6; 1 Peter 2:9).
Moreover, the gospel declares unto all that believe the gospel of Christ that the precious blood atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ cleanses and justifies us from all sin (Rom. 5:9). Not with the blood of bulls and goats (Heb. 9:11-12), not with the ceremony and traditions of men (Matt. 15:9), but rather with the glorious blood offering of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself nothing else (Acts 20:28), nothing less (1 Cor. 6:20) and nothing more cleanses us from all sins, iniquities and transgressions (Rom. 4:6-8; Heb. 9:26; 1 Peter 1:18-20). This includes all original sin, actual sin, sin of omission and sin of commission, ALL sin forever!!
Oh, the glory and peace of this perfect sacrifice, that is everlasting, full, complete and satisfying to the Father; that is freely and sovereignly given to a special and chosen people by the Lord (Rom. 8:32). We are blessed to possess and enjoy all spiritual blessings through our victorious Lord’s blood atonement (Eph. 1:3-6; Col. 2:9-10; 1 John 4:10).
We rejoice with Paul and shout from the house top, "Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Cor. 15:57).
