Global warming? You better believe it!
Let me say the political piece first: Yes, things are probably heating up.
No, we can't prove how or why they're heating up.
Yes, there has always been alternate warming and cooling of Earth. And so...?
In the 70's the same political machine was predicting an ice age , and was all upset with folks who did not get on THAT bandwagon.
So where does that leave us?
In the Book of Revelation, where else? Revelation 16:8ff
In that passage, judgments are being poured out on the earth, though not the final judgment that will occur when Jesus returns with His own, snatched up from the winds of Heaven. These are the infamous "bowl" judgments, a series of natural disasters that will leave the planet reeling.
The fourth "bowl" involves the sun. The sun becomes so hot that men are literally "scorched with fire." This may be where the sun turns to darkness, as in a nova. First a great explosion that causes the heat, then darkness and bitter cold follows in the next "bowl."
I don't have to play the politics game of the world, and you do not either. My view of the future is grounded solidly on what God said. Global warming is coming in a major way when He gives the signal. Nothing we see now can even compare to it, nor can we predict at all which way things will go until then.

Scientists, real not pseudo, say the sun is giong thruogh a hot spell, and this does happen where the sun will wax hotter for awhile. It's perfectly normal.
Not to say that things aren't being done by the very people crying wolf to destroy the atomosphere and the earth (HAARP, Gwen Towers, chemtrails, other things you mentioned).
And yes, the UN wants to tax everybody for how many children they have, control our lives minutely. It's all traced back to eugenics, renamed as the environmental movement and population control, but just as sinister as it was back in the day that it fueled the Nazi movement.
The eugenics movement I've learned started in Britain and the U.S, was exported to Nazi Germany, and then after the war we brought the eugenicist scientists like Mengele back here and set them up with labs to continue their work, to the point that almost every foundation and university leader today is a eugenicist, and the move to depopulate the world in the name of saving it is moving steadily forward.

There is technology being used that actually can heat up the atmosphere, change the weather, it can even be used in warfare. This is manmade and it is not God's judgement on earth. The catasrophes caused by god will not come until the time is right during the tribulation.
