The North American Presbytery of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) has once again arranged an all-age conference, to be held in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia.
The purpose of the conference is to give instruction in the Reformed faith, to stir us up to seek maturity in godliness, and to present the need for missionary outreach to extend experimental Reformed principles in North America and to establish new churches across the continent. Interested parties from outside the Presbytery are warmly encouraged to attend.
The conference facility is located about two and a half hours' drive west of Washington, D.C. Every effort has been made to keep the cost sufficiently low to ensure that families will not be deterred from coming because of the expense.
We are privileged to have as a guest speaker Rev. William Macleod, minister in Glasgow, Scotland, who is the editor of the denominational Free Church Witness magazine and Principal of the Free Church Seminary. There will also be addresses by Rev. David Murray, who has served two pastorates in Scotland, and was recently appointed Professor of Old Testament and Practical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Rev. Robert McCurley and Rev. Sherman Isbell are also to speak.
Full details are available at the conference web site.
