“ Great Sermon! ” Lord search my heart, I truly want to know you and want you regardless of anything else in my life. Reveal to me any idol I’ve made a god in my life.
“ Discipleship ” Our mission in life is to give God glory in all we do. Discipleship is a means to do this. We share the gospel by living out our faith in Jesus no matter what life brings. We find strength within the community of believers helping one another to stay focused and centered on Christ. Our trials and tribulations speak loudly to those around us. Are our actions and words pointing others to or away from Christ? What message are you sending?
“ Food for thought ” Redirecting our thoughts when they’re becoming dark by focusing on Christ and pure thoughts is the pattern for renewing our minds and successful Christian growth.
May we learn to do this quickly and ongoing throughout our lives.
“ Have you lost your joy? ” Have you become grumbly hateful or are you humbly grateful? No matter our circumstances we need to be thankful IN all things and when we are we will never lose our joy. Thankfulness leads to joyfulness. Thank you , pastor JD, for your faithfulness in teaching the truth of the gospel for the glory of God.
“ Great Sermon! ” There’s no way anyone would be able to overcome in their own power. Thank God for his provision through Jesus Christ! What a comfort it is knowing that no matter what life throws at us, God has us through it all. In this life as well as the next. Hallelujah ! To God be the glory!
“ Important Reminder ” It is so easy to get lost in our day to day life and forget to do the most fundamentally important thing in our walk with Christ. Confession, reverence for God & that I fall short and need him desperately. Repentance, asking forgiveness and getting back on the path depended on his righteousness. Faith, knowing that he is with me all the way. All walk hand in hand and are not meant to stand alone. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the reminder that these are necessary daily.
