Sadly most Christians are sincere but simply not aware of the changes, errors and deletions in bibles like the NIV.If you believe they all say the same thing in different ways have a look at verses like Mathew 17:21 and 18:11
Absolutely, and what is also interesting is that Satan told them in the garden "Ye shall be as gods" (Gen. 3:5), the very same thing that caused him to fall himself we he became puffed up and said "I shall be like the most High" (Is. 14:14).
