Here are a few of the comments made on this news article:"Regardless of ones political leanings, the mere fact that Sarah is going to Haiti, will trigger mass media attention. You betcha! Thats a good thing isn't it? Give Sarah that much. regardless of her intentions the results will help the Haitian people. I'd like to see Obama go. but he's too busy golfing. hey, cleaning up after Bush is hard work/s" " Haven't the poor Haitians suffered enough without these two *******s going there and making it worse? Maybe god really does hates Haitians...." “Sarah Palin, do you agree with Franklin Graham that Islam is an ‘evil’ religion? Yes or no?” Wake up. MUSLIMS attacked and killed 3 thousand people on 9/11 because of their MUSLIM RELIGION. Not because they were Yemenis or Saudis. Muslims killed these people. Muslims all over the world were dancing in the streets because of what happened that day. Christiane Amanpoura had a MUSLIM imam Choudray from England on her show that said: "We do believe as Muslims the East and the West will be governed by the Sharia,” “Indeed we believe that one day the flag of Islam will fly over the White House." Why are they going there when the US does not allow these black people to come to the US? Don't we have sickness Here![](https://media.sermonaudio.com/images/web/images/smilies/confused.gif) |

John UK wrote: "However, when it comes to making comparisons between Bibles without any human input except the time required for such a project, it makes no difference if she had been a true-blue Calvinist. The facts are there for all to see. The modern versions have an agenda not unto edification." ![](https://media.sermonaudio.com/images/web/images/smilies/nod.gif) John UK,That was very well stated because the bottom line is all that counts. The Defined KJV Bibles I sent you and your friend last year make all these modern versions unnecessary for clarification. Unfortunately they are not sold in "Christian" bookstores because that would not be profitable if they had to quit selling all the different versions. So the only place you can buy them is direct from the Bible For Today. (Dr. Waite who has sermons on SA is the publisher. They are around $40+shipping, but 12 cost $350+ ship). If somebody can't afford one, I would be willing to sent one if they promise to use it and tell others about it. Have you ever seen a bible like that, John? I hope you are well and are continuing to share the Gospel with others. If I can be of any help, let me know. |

Reformanda wrote: Notwithstanding the nonsense spewed forth by opponents (and sadly SOME proponents of the A.V.) God has in the past blessed, and continues to bless in the present, the faithful preaching of God's Word from this version. It is a translation, but a very good one, and the best extant, in my own view. The "broad-brush" attacks by people like James White upon the supporters of the A.V.(KJV) are not justified based on the evidence. Whilst the aim might be to counteract extremists on the issue(such as Ruckman, Gail Riplinger etc.,)the net result is an unfair labelling of all who exclusively use the A.V. as fanatics. It is a sad day indeed when the use of the time-honored Authorised Version is lampooned by professing Christians. If you want to label me "KJV-only", and make that a perjorative, that is your problem. Sometimes I wonder why it is not considered aa a bad thing when some churches are NIV-only, or ESV-only, or NASB-only?? Is it not a tragic thing to witness the utter confusion that has arisen because some churches have 4 or 5 versions among attendees and yet another version employed in the pulpit?? Very well stated. This is the very reason I stopped attending a truck stop bible study becaue everyone had a different version! |

6/10/1887 “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.”-2 Peter 2:9.THERE are very narrow limits to our knowledge. There is a great breadth to our conceit; but the things that we really know are very few, after all. He who is wisest will be the first to confess his own ignorance. Our faith in the superior knowledge of God is a great source of comfort to us. That he knows everything, is a sort of omnipresent covering to our naked ignorance. Though we know not as yet, we rejoice that he knows, and it is better that he should know than that we should know. Knowledge is safer in the hands of God than it would be in our hands. The infinite God alone is to be trusted with infinite knowledge. The first words of our text, “The Lord knoweth,” often come as a comfort to my own mind. The text says, “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations.” This is only one of the many things, which the Lord knoweth. For instance, sometimes we meet with perplexing doctrines; perhaps we endeavor to effect reconciliation between the predestination of God and the freedom of human action. It is better not to wade too far into those deep waters, lest we lose ourselves in an abyss. “The Lord knoweth.” |

Excellent comment Here is another good one: "I remember when women stayed home with the kids and the men moonlighted to make ends meet. The children of this arrangement turned out well. Now that women have bought the feminist lie that they can have it all, they "go to work" and leave the kids with others. The children of this arrangement are depressed, suicidal, self-destructive, have STD (VD for the older reader), gotten pregnant, had an abortion, and are learning disabled. They are also obese, diabetic, subject to eating disorders, have lice and are gender confused. "Working" mothers are torn between mothering and doing their "job". Meanwhile these "working" mothers are treated for a variety of stress-induced disorders as well. So these distracted workers work less efficiently and are consequently paid less. As for chivalry? That was reserved for earlier times when women were appreciated for their contribution in the home and society as stay at home moms." ![](https://media.sermonaudio.com/images/web/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif) |

Here are some characteristics of a CULT like the Campingites have.Extrabiblical Authority: All cults deny what God says in His Word as true. Cults have shifted their theological point of authority away from God's full and final written Word, the Bible, to their own unique, self-promoting opinions about the Bible; they generally will use parts of the Bible but will have their own unique scripture which is considered to be superior to the Bible. While some cult groups give token respect for the Bible and go through the motions of accepting the authority of Scripture, in reality, they honor the group's or leader's novel interpretation of Scripture as normative. Guru-Type Leader/Modern Prophet: The cult leader is looked to as the infallible interpreter of Scripture, specially appointed by God to be a special saint, guru, or contemporary messiah, and thereby, has divine authority that must not be violated. Cultists almost always quote their leader rather than the Bible. The cult's adherents often expound the virtues of the founders and seek to cover the founder's sins and wickedness. Exclusivity from/Denunciation of Other Groups: Each cult group, regardless of what other doctrines are taught, will all have this one common idea -- "The Only True Church Syndrome BEWARE |

Mark M. wrote: I can understand praying for our leaders, and for common sense to return, but if something is wrong, then it's wrong. Obama does support abortion. People who vote have a responsibility to learn about the who they are voting for. Obama really is the Joker. People were so put off by Bush (and McCain did himself no favors by saying he supported Bush in 90% of his policies) that they turned to Obama without thinking. They voted in a guy that would have never gotten over at any other time in America's history. Why hasn't God "smited" Obama. We can't answer for Him, but I think one reason may be that we get the leaders that we deserve. Obama got in because a lot of people wanted change regardless of what kind of change it was, and the people who knew better were so jaded that they stayed home and didn't vote. I hope they are enjoying the "moral" victory of voting their conscience or refusing to vote. That's cool on paper, but in practice it let Obama in, and now the nation is paying for it. ![](https://media.sermonaudio.com/images/web/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif) |

"To whom also He shewed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God." Acts 1:3 "I want you to see the importance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Satan hates the doctrine. He has always opposed it because it is part of the Gospel and it makes Christianity superior to all other religions. I don't care if your religion is Moslem, Buddhist or any other religion, Christianity is the only religion that can point to an empty tomb where the Saviour conquered death and arose from the grave. The resurrection of Jesus Christ makes Christianity superior to ALL other religions as it guarantees a judgement and assure's Satan's defeat. In Jesus' day and Paul's day, there were many who did not believe in the resurrection. Down through the years, Satan has tried to get people to believe there is no such thing as the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In Acts 26:8 Paul said, "Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?" This matter of the resurrection has always been hated by the Devil, taught in God's Word but despised by the enemy of truth. Thank God-HE AROSE!" (The Baptist Bread for April 4, 2010 and written by Dr. Tom Malone.) |
