Just a little food for thought on John 6. The Word made flesh has told us if we do not eat his flesh and drink his blood we have no life in us. Peter unlocks this parable for us in verse 68. "You have the "words" of eternal life." It is quite clear that Christ was speaking here of reading his "Word" and ingesting it in your heart.
From reading the article, I do not get the impression that evolution has been taken out of science class. Seems the debate is given the same bias, evolution=science, ID=religion.

I wouldn't say evangelicals believe in "president Bush", or any other republican for that matter. They mostly give lip service to our concerns, and only then for several weeks before vote time.
It's just that democrats have made themselves the anti-Jesus party seeking to legislate us into our homes and churches. They seek to undo what we teach our children, and label us as seeking theocracy. When in truth, secular humanism has been established the official religion of this country, not by the people mind you. But by liberal judge-kings who are into liberal social experiments. We have as much right to petition our government for our grievances as anyone else.
