John Yurich USA wrote: I am serious. Since all Democrats are under heavy demonic influence then any accusation of sexual assault against a Democrat man would be true. Rodney K., I have told a joke on here before. Sorry, John. I must have missed it. |

Thought you old folks ate dinner around 4PM, had some warm milk around 5PM, read a little with your magnifying glass, soaked the dentures, removed the hearing aids, and lights out by six. Well, usually you'd be right. But... I've decided to live on the wild side and stay up until 6:30. (CRAZY) |

Interesting logic, John. Are you serious, or joking around? Have you ever known JY to tell a joke? |

Jim,Thanks for the link to the original WP story. Very informative. Hardly surprising. The authors of the original article are both professors at Wheaton - liberal through and through. From the WP piece: " At Wheaton College, someone who believes in a literal six-day creation will be presented with evidence for the actual age of the universe, and a student skittish about diversity will be challenged to come to grips with the reality of racism. This intellectual growth offers not competition with, but a complement to a student’s Christian faith." Why does Wheaton keep these wolves around. Probably the same reason other "Christian" colleges (like Carson Newman) keep the wolves around? The wolves never announce that they are wolves. |

Christopher000 wrote: …What I'm trying to get to the bottom of is, is it considered sin not to observe a day of rest, as some have said, or is it just simply a good thing to do, etc.?... Hey Bro. Chris,I heard a good sermon by Albert Martin a few years back (here on SA, I think???) that really helped me see the importance of the Sabbath. For the record, Albert Martin is a Sunday keeper. I lean towards Saturday. But the reasons he gave for keeping the Sabbath were applicable either way. The Sabbath predated the fall. This was given to man as a gift. "The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath." We should view the Sabbath as a gracious gift from God - a blessing. It was never intended to be something we HAD to do, but something we GET to do. Isaiah 58:13 encourages us to "call the sabbath a delight." If we are only keeping it because we feel we HAVE to, we've really missed the point anyway. |

Christopher000 wrote: ..two strands of super long hair that he wraps around his, bald as a cucumber, noggin many times to make it appear as a full head of hair... Dave, if this is true, I think I may have worked with your brother at one time. I always joked that he only had three really long hairs. His hair-wrap actually stuck out from his forehead like the bill of a baseball cap. I used to accuse him of using Elmer's glue in his hair. But now I can't help but wonder if he was actually using Vegermite. Hmmmm.... |
