a much needed to be heard sermon in our day & age this sermon is both needful and helpful in this "perverse and adulteress generation". there seems to be so many religious taboos in Christian marriages that what is allowed seems to be condemned by many and on the other scale what God forbids many embrace. I feel that much more of this strict doctrinal preaching on relationships and Christian marriage is needed that Gods people be not "led astray with the error of the wicked"
Incredible but TRUE !!! I have herd many sermons and many theories on what the mark of the beast is but they are all fanciful deceptions and lies of the devil. Your exposition Mr Holland is the Truth, it has been my conviction for many years and I rejoice to find there are others of this same conviction. Unfortunately it is a doctrine that many will not want to receive because it does not come under the title of sensationalism or "some new thing" Thank you Mr Holland for this wonderfully truth.
Helpful I often view escatology as a large jig saw puzzle and in my study of it Im always looking for missing pieces that will complete that picture and give me to see all of Gods revelation to us His saints, your sermon Mr Hoffer gave me a few more pieces to a very complex and puzzling subject. Thank you.
Encouraging!!! I listened to this sermon shortly after I had said "I shall now perish one day by the hand of my troubles" My soul cast into a furnace heated seven times more than its wont to be heated and so hedged up with thorns and briars that I oft despaired of any hope, and seeing no light at the end of the tunnel. This sermon gave me some hope, Im not alone in my afflictions. Thank you Mr Banister your sermon encouraged me to press on seeking God even though like Job, forward, backward to the left and right I cannot see Him or perceive Him.
O How Solemn!! Rightly did the prophet Isaiah say thru the Spirit "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?" I can only give one answer, The elect of God and none else.
A Blessed Sermon Indeed ! I have no doubt but when election is preached faithfully and scripturally' particularly unconditional election, Satans kingdom is not only troubled, but violently shaken. If more "so called ministers" preached election today, Christianity would not be in the mess it is in.
Very good sermon The total depravity of man, what a precious, enlightening and I must add a most flesh humbling doctrine. HOW BLESSED !!! A truth so desperately needed to be heard today, but despite it being preached today I fear, oh I fear that still many reject this truth whereby the Lord protests and says "for they have not rejected thee " (the minister)"but have rejected me, that I should not reign over them".
Great Sermon! Oh grace! wonderous grace tis a charming sound harmonious to the ear;oh let all Christians prepare their hearts to adore this sovereign and glorious God as these truths are opened to our minds and hearts.
Good Sermon Oh blessed election, there is much sweetness and comfort for the Christian in this doctrine.I would go as far as saying that those who embrace with joy and delight unconditional election are the Lords, those multitudes that murmur and grumble and look to give an entire different meaning are not Christians 2
2 Pet 3:16.
Practically needful ! This was a good practical sermon ,very needful in our day and age where it seems to me that the attitude of many in our churches is "stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou".
Very good sermon ! I liked this sermon because many doctrinal points were hit upon, especially Romans 7. So many believe that it refers to Pauls previous life but this cannot be. Verse 17 and 24 were very well treated I felt.
Balm in Gilead !!! I came to this sermon with a heavy heart, troubled, some what confused and greatly downcast but oh how this physician poured in the oil of joy for my mourning and gave me the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. this is a much needed to hear sermon for all especially for those who mourn in zion.
Very edifying this series on James was very edifying my wife and I were very encouraged and built up. Thankyou brother for your faithfulness in preaching them we enjoyed them all
Helpful and most needful !!! this sermon is one of those whereby we who call ourselves Christians must judge ourselves by as to wheather we be in the faith. I found it an excellent touch stone to determine if we are experimental Christians or not. Thankyou brother for resuming the sermons in greek
An awakening sermon ! this message gave me much to think about,a wake up call to righteous and holy living. A good sermon for these times of prosperous and careless living.
A much needed to be heard message in a day and age where prosperity abounds and not a few so called "Christians" are carried away by this flood, this message needs to be sounded forth much.
Expectant !!! Im looking forward to listening to these series of messages particularly due to the fact that many churches today walk contrary to many of its teachings
oh blessed message !!! oh how this message rebukes "our pentacostal friends" who must see some sign before they will believe but for some of us "we have also a more sure word of prophecy" the holy scriptures which alone contents us.Luther once said "I intended with the Lord my God that He would never send me dreams and visions, Iam well contended with the gift of the scriptures"
