Very good sermon I appreciated this sermon for it contained a very important truth not realized today by the masses of church goers. The doctrine of God's absolute sovereignty over the fallen angels is one not enough preached, therefore not known. The examples you brought forth Niko were very good examples of their limited power especially from Luke 22.31. Greek Christians would be well rewarded to listen to this sermon and study this subject humbly and prayerfully, especially in these days where the devil has come down to us with great wrath knowing his time is verh short.
Great Sermon! This was a very good sermon. The truth spoken here was very edifying. That word Jesus speaks, without me you can do nothing, is the hardest lesson to learn. The apostle Paul needed a thorn in the flesh and many afflictions to learn it. My experience is that it can only be learnt with many crosses, losses, disappointments, and many Fatherly chastisments. In this way one will bring forth the peaceable fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ.
Great Sermon! How utter strangers are most professing Christians to that love the apostle describes in 1 Cor 13. How hard is it for one to learn to love according to the biblical standard. Joseph has his wicked brethren, David has a Saul, Paul has an Alexander; how blessed are we if God has given us an enemy to daily oppose, contend with and hate us. When such such a trial is sanctified to us then we learn how to love not before.
Predestination and election You know, there are many many pastors and ministers today that think to do Christianity a great favor by speaking down the doctrine of free sovereign grace. They speak evil things both of Calvin and Calvinism, simply because they are ignorant of that God glorifying and flesh withering truth. Little do they know that the arminian system that they embrace is riddled with contradictions, absurdities and falsehoods.
How true "the carnal mind is enmity against God (and His law): for it is not subject to the law of God,neither indeed can be.
Awakening sermon How solemn! How true. Everywhere Jesus went preaching the gospel, multitudes followed, but never received any real benefit from Christ. Few however are come to him with faith and these are saved. So it is today.
Good Sermon! I enjoyed this sermon. When so many ministers are giving false hope to many, preaching pre trib theology, I thank you Mr Settlemoir for speaking the truth in love and forewarning us as to what really is going to take place. The sermon was delivered very humbly and solemnly. Thankyou
Great Sermon! I was wonderfully blessed listening to this message. It ranks as one of my favourites due to its richness in spiritual content, and O how wonderfully does it portray the experience of every sinner saved by grace thru faith. It wonderfully portrays our total depravity, our inability to come of ourselves to Jesus. Our justification and our sanctification which only can give evidence of our having been forgiven.I cannot but weep tears of joy that Jesus once spoke those same words to me as he did to the paralytic. Thank You Niko for choosing a theme so rich in spiritual food.
Good sermon It's unfortunate that many ministers today seem to be apologetic regarding the content of their sermons. I've heard it too often, the preacher always seems to asks forgiveness from his congregation for speaking the truth, but really the preacher has not even come close to hitting the mark regarding the truth. Truth is that we are all un deserving, ill deserving and most of all hell deserving, vile, wretched and undone creatures in the sight of God, and if we don't come to a heartfelt acknowledgment of this fact we will never give God the glory due to his name. The sermon finish very well Niko.
Thank you for a much needed series on the 5 solas
Excellent sermon Oh,precious truth, here is doctrine that needs to be preached upon the house top literally. Can anything be more God glorifying and flesh mortifying then the doctrine of the sovereign free grace of God? Thank you Niko for your faithfulness in proclaiming this wonderful truth. Not unto us O Lord, not unto us,but unto they name give glory, for they mercy ,and for they truths sake.
Very good sermon It's very regrettable that so many Christians today have no idea of this imputed righteousness and the glorious exchange that takes place in the believers life. Many church goers habour a secret belief that not only are they good people, but if they do a round of religious duties, God will be well pleased with them. Thank you Niko for this kind of preaching. It needs to drummed into the religious world very often because it's a doctrine hateful to flesh and blood,so the words that we are to speak, are not to please men but to please our God.
Excellent sermon This was an excellent sermon powerfully delivered regarding Christs substitutionary sacrifice. You did great justice to the doctrine Niko stating not only the need of the death of Christ, but also and equally important, the life of Jesus, His obeying all the law of God. I rejoiced to hear this truth, it needs to be preached more often because so many of the Lords people are ignorant of these truths. May God grant you grace to speak and not hold your peace concerning these and other great doctrines.
Great Sermon! This was a very good sermon. I thank you Pastor Baker for exposing formalism. Yes it is rife today, not an assembly that is not tainted with this disease. The problem is people come to church with no spiritual experiences from the week, looking to get their fill, dead they come, dead they leave. Whereas the true saint comes having tasted and experienced God's goodness, thru the week and is desiress to thank and praise that gracious God who has blessed him with His own presence.Alive he comes, alive he leaves. This is true worship. Again thank you Pastor, your message was powerful and to the point.
Great Sermon! This was a very good sermon. It describes a Christianity that is not known off today. It describes God's sovereign dealings with all His covenant people. Again this experimental Christianity is not only, not known, but never heard off. But the elect can well relate to it because God gives to all his chosen ones ,some more, some less, a thorn in the flesh where they cry out, He must increase, but I must decrease. Oh ever blessed Redeemer that has stuped down so low to save a wretched wretch like myself. Thank you Nikos, this sermon reminded me of God's many dealings with me as He prepares many sons for glory
Good Sermon! God bless His inheritance,His faithful remnant that call upon Him in truth, that follow Him where ever He goes. God bless you all, and may a double portion of Gods Spirit be poured upon you Barnabases that encourage Gods dear, dear people, and all you Mordecais who seek the (spiritual)wealth of the people of the Lord and who speak peace to all His seed.
Very important sermon What a good sermon. I never get tired of hearing sermons on justification by faith only, it is the christians meat and drink. I encourage all greek speaking christians to listen to this series . Thank you Niko its this type of preaching that brings true revival to believers and the church.
Very good sermon It would be good for every professing Christian to hear this sermon for "there is a generation who are pure in their own eyes who are not washed from their filth"
superb sermon This would have to be one of the best sermons on justification by faith that you will hear in this day and age. This is indeed the gospel. I just wonder, do ministers preach the gospel today? if we judge them by this sermon and standard, then the gospel is not preached today that explains why souls are not being saved.
This was a good sermon. Sadly this message only goes to prove that many so called evangelicals today believe the words of their pastors without searching the scriptures to see if those things told them are true. They have no love for Gods word nor any love for the truth, therefore God sends them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie. I think a better title to this sermon would have been " the millennium a lie of the devil"
