Jim, my apologies but I did not complete my comment. Original intent, of the framers of the Constitution, was state's rights versus the limited powers of the Federal Government.

As a conservative, I believe that more limited and smaller the government, the better it is for all of us. I don't like the government interfering in my day-to-day affairs.

Whenever I got on trouble as a boy, I was exiled to hard labor on the family farm. The time was the early 70s. I hated it back then, the farmwork. However, looking back, I now appreciate hard work and the male role models of my father, uncles, and Grandpa. They made a man out of me. Also, at that time, the closet homosexuals came from town, from the well-to-do families.
