Frank wrote: Spoken like a true stranger and alien in this lost and fallen world. Satan is the temporary god of this world, but one day our Lord will return and send him to his eternal place of suffering. And in the end, the wheat will be separated from the tares. Praise His holy name. Amen and amen, pilgrim.Another year is dawning: Dear Father, let it be, In working or in waiting, Another year with Thee; Another year of progress, Another year of praise, Another year of proving Thy presence all the days; Another year of mercies, Of faithfulness and grace; Another year of gladness In the shining of Thy face; Another year of leaning Upon Thy loving breast; Another year of trusting, Of quiet, happy rest; Another year of service, Of witness for Thy love; Another year of training For holier work above. Another year is dawning: Dear Father, let it be, On earth or else in heaven, Another year for Thee. |

Frank wrote: Well brothers, one thing for sure is the below are prophesies! Matthew 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. Revelations 13:7 Then I saw the thrones, and those seated on them had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image, and had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Correct! |

Mike wrote: The spirit of fear is great in many churches, sadly. Since the Lord has not given them a spirit of fear, we might guess who it is they listen to most. Thanks Mike. It seems to me that these things go round in circles. Whenever the church has a time of prosperity and lack of persecution, it becomes lethargic and often lazy, quite content, giving no diligence to important spiritual matters, and eventually going through a mere form, a ritual, having a form of godliness without the power of God attending it. This inevitably attracts the chastisement of Father, who will seek to bring his children back to a real Christian life by whatever means necessary.2 Timothy 1:7 KJV (7)Â For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. I do wish all churches would preach this text until normality returned to God's children, when fear would be gone, and the disciples of Jesus were filled with power, and with love, and with a sound mind. However, history shows that the church, whether in the OT or NT, always seems to wait until things get really bad before responding to God's rod. |

I think it should be made illegal to mention the opposition during election campaigning. This would force political parties to state their case, and only their case. And if promises are not kept, which could and ought to have been kept, I would bring in the death penalty and rid the world of political liars who only want to look after their own interests. |

"The shift is not unique to Long Hollow. Some expect decreased in-person attendance to be permanent."It just goes to show that the average church member is dissatisfied with his experience of church. People who attend Hillsong type churches don't want to miss their high, which they can only get by attending their rock concert church service. But Baptists and Presbyterians have been struggling along without the company of their Lord and Saviour for years, and don't seem too bothered about it. How many of them are bored with their church service and why is it? I put it down to the clergy/laity system, which began with the Anglicans and spread far and wide until everyone thought it was the normal way of doing things. But it is not normal, for it is not biblical. The people in the pews are unemployed, not doing anything except listening, instead of being actively involved and using their gifts to edify the body. Every Christian is gifted by Jesus, but church hierarchy says, "Oh we don't need that, we don't need Jesus and his gifts, we have got degrees and diplomas and seminary passes!" Jesus dictated a few letters to churches in Asia Minor in the first century. I wonder how many he would have to write today? |

The Black Death was the deadliest pandemic recorded in human history. It resulted in the deaths of up to 75–200 million people in Eurasia and North Africa, peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351.It is said that the disease spread 'like lightning'. Around half of Europe died. It is amazing that something invisible to the naked eye can cause such devastation. It would be interesting to see what would happen in our own time if we simply ignored C19 and continued with our normal lives. |

1 John 5:7 KJV (7)Â For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.John 1:1 KJV (1)Â In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 KJV (14)Â And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV (16)Â And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: **God** was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Sure, the scriptures have the answer. |

cont....Part Three[True believers have the Holy Spirit (4:13; 5:10-11). This is an over-arching test summing up all the others. Is there evidence that the fruit of the Spirit is present in your life (Galatians 5:22-23)?] [In summary, one's assurance of salvation does not need to be based on a past decision or an experience. It should rest first of all on one's faith in the objective truth of God's Word, Jesus Christ, and the gospel. Secondly, it should rest on the reality of a changed life marked by obedience, a love for Christ and His righteousness, and a hatred for sin. Take heart if these things are true in your life, and trust God to continue to work out His salvation in your life.] Please note, ***It should rest first of all on one's faith in the objective truth of God's Word, Jesus Christ, and the gospel.*** Ahem. Please note, and inwardly digest. Thank you. |
