Perhaps we take for granted the freedoms we have in being legally permitted to serve God in our everyday lives? In Him we live, move, and have our being, so how terrible it would be to be persecuted at every turn! May we pray for those, and think of those, who are suffering for their faith in Christ Jesus! Hebrews 13:3 "Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body." (KJV) "Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body." (ESV) |

Dear Justin Bieber,May God bless you in your decision to walk with God ~ I pray that you will grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus ~ Who died on the cross for the remission of our sins. Seek God with all your heart, and trust in Him even when times are tough. May God grant you His peace that surpasses all our understanding ~ and may all your future endeavors bring honour and glory to God our Father in heaven! The book of Proverbs in the Bible is a great place for a young man to find godly wisdom ~ and the book of Psalms is filled with poetic godly encouragement. I picked out two Bible verses which I thought may be of encouragement to you! All the best, Jessica Dawson "Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you." Titus 2:6-8 "My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart," Proverbs 3:1-3 |

My Grandparents had thirteen children and were a part of the Roman Catholic Church — when they needed help, they would have a nun going through their cupboards to make sure they were 'poor enough' to receive help. My Grandmother had a really hard time looking after so many children, so why wasn't the Catholic Church there helping to raise them?! Rather than the nuns sitting in their proverbial ivory towers, they could have been helping women to change diapers, wash diapers, and bottle feed babies — not just demand people have children and then walk away! Maybe the Catholic Church should make it their manifesto to clothe and feed all the children who are starving as it is?! Maybe they should be helping women in poverty to feed their children, so women are not coerced to give their children up for adoption and never see them again?! "Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street." ~ Lamentations 2:19 KJV And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers. ~ Luke 11:46 KJV |

F Scearle wrote: Satan and his sodomites win again. The judgment of God:- Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. The Law defines the punishment we deserve for our sins. Yet, Jesus (The perfect Lamb of God) took our sins upon Himself, and suffered the death penalty we deserved at the cross. "Keep my statutes and do them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you. 9 For anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood is upon him." ~ Leviticus 20:8-9 'If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. ~ Leviticus 20:10 “A man or a woman who is a medium or a necromancer shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them.†~ Leviticus 20:27 "Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death." ~ Levitic |

Pastor Mark Driscoll says: "When [Jesus] was learning as a little kid how to write his letters, was it like, 'I can do this, mom, I made the Heavens and the Earth. Watch, I can do cursive too'. Or, or, did he have to, 'Ok, this is how you make, oh, ah, ok, I got it right the second time.'"Yet the Scripture says: "Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught. And the Jews marveled, saying, 'How does this Man know letters, having never studied?' Jesus answered them and said, 'My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.'" ~ John 7:14-16 NKJV |

Anne wrote: “Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on the rock. The rain fell, the rivers rose, and the winds blew and pounded that house. Yet it didn’t collapse, because its foundation was on the rock." (Matt. 7:24-25) The rain has fallen on my dear friends but I know their faith in a greater God is carrying them through this time of immense loss and grief. Let it be said of us then, "Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep." (Rom.12:15) for "Those who mourn are blessed, for they will be comforted." (Matt. 5:4) Amen Anne! None of us seek the pain of loss ~ but if we have to go through it, we have a mighty Father in heaven to comfort we and our loved ones! Amen, God will be glorified! |

I believe it is the Christian believer's responsibility to pray for President Obama, just as it is the Christian's responsibility as believers here in Canada to pray for our Prime Minister."I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV ]]Titus 3 (King James Version) |
