Great Sermon! Truth till the very last second of the sermon. Jesus Christ your only way to God. No man-made religion in all the forms out in the world.
Great Sermon! Todd hit the bullseye! When deal with the sovereign grace of God you are messing with His greatest glory. Listen and be Warned! Isaiah 48:11, "For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another."
Great Sermon! Todd has a good understanding of this parable and an excellent understanding of the grace of God but I just want to add this: Romans 11:11-12; "I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?" And this: Zechariah 12:9-10; "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." Israel will again come into their fulness greater then ever before, and it will happen when they mourn for the one whom they have pierced as one mourns for their only son.
Great Sermon! Such a good msg Todd. Thank you. My heart hung on every word. We're saved from God... we're saved from ourself. Praise God. My only hope.
Great Sermon! I'm so happy to have heard this message. It shows wisdom of the Spirit. I don't always agree with Todd on every little matter, but then again I don't always agree with anyone I have ever known in my entire life, but Todd does preach with an understanding of the gospel that only comes from the Spirit. And we must worship in Spirit and in Truth.
Great Sermon! Yes sir! I pray that God opens the ears of a multitude to receive this message and pray there are more to preach it faithfully with Spirit and Truth.
Great Sermon! I want to express my agreement with Todd and add, the most stubborn, hard headed problem in Christianity all over the globe, but especially in this country comes after an excellent message has been given by a gifted speaker. And that is when they start asking people to make a decision for God. You can't decide ANYTHING for God. If you realize that then that is evidence that the Spirit is working in you. If God makes you to see who you are compared to who He is and you find yourself taking sides with God against yourself, then God has decided to make that known in your heart and it is time to acknowledge that publicly in baptism. But don't ever think you are doing a great thing by accepting Jesus into your heart. That is a prideful work of the flesh and there is no salvation in it. If Jesus comes into your heart it is a work of the Spirit. Not the flesh. A man who has learned of his need of Christ does not accept God, he begs, "God be merciful to me a sinner." And he knows that whether he is saved or not is up to God. And then he comes to be sure of his salvation based on the Word of God, not on his allowing God to save him! What audacity that is in the face of a holy, righteous, and all-powerful God to think that a single prideful act on our part would cause God to save us.
Great Sermon! What an appropriate name for these mountains. The waters receded and the curse was reversed. It is also interesting to know that there is a valley among these mountains whose name means, "The Valley of Eight."
Great Sermon! All things we do, say, or think should glorify God. Unfortunately, for now we fall woefully short. But this message glorifies our Lord and how could you not love a message that displays our God's glory if your faith rests in Him and you have the love that flows through our hearts by the work of the Spirit. My favorite sermons are those that boast of our Lord's greatness. To God be the Glory!
