“ Great Sermon! ” Todd has a good understanding of this parable and an excellent understanding of the grace of God but I just want to add this: Romans 11:11-12; "I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?" And this: Zechariah 12:9-10; "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." Israel will again come into their fulness greater then ever before, and it will happen when they mourn for the one whom they have pierced as one mourns for their only son.
