Balm in Gilead !!! I came to this sermon with a heavy heart, troubled, some what confused and greatly downcast but oh how this physician poured in the oil of joy for my mourning and gave me the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. this is a much needed to hear sermon for all especially for those who mourn in zion.
Great Sermon! Excellent!
Our president is fulfilling the will of the people. He is also tall as King Saul was. Nevertheless, no man has authority unless it is given to him by God. We should desire the will of God first. PRAY
"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will" (Prov. 21:1).
Re abortion. Genocide occurred outside of the womb first. Abortion is simply the result of not protecting other "innocent" men first.
Christians have the answers. But we must first value every life; every life. There cannot be a choice in this matter on any level.
Just an aside. When I was a child evolution was just beginning to be taught in the schools. There was little outcry because many devalued the life of those considered to have evolved from primates. Christians lived as practical evolutionists; living separate lives. Or, not living as one Body. In short, sin is added to sin. It is indeed a great multiplier. How great is the darkness, if we succumb to one part of it? Our hearts must be purified and clean. We need to be humble. A study of the Word will do this. A study of God's word will humble us. Perhaps we can look at abortion this way - these fetuses are being spared from the evil that is to come. I believe they are "saved."
Great Sermon! I have acted very superficially for a long time, wickedly unimpressed is God's Accusation towards me!!
I am a wickedly callous leper.
God help me.
Great Sermon! Great instruction. Thank you. I ordered and have received the Study Bible, and am looking forward to starting the one year reading plan contained within in conjunction with the Bible. Blessings to you.
Excellent Sermon! Awesome,excellent sermon!
Dear Lord,increase our love for You, our knowledge of You, our faith, our zeal and the fruit of Your Holy Spirit,in us, as we submit our hearts,minds,and our lives to You each and every new day.
Psalm 139:23
" Search me,O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting." Amen!
Great Sermon! I have listened a lot to studies of revival and I think you are totally correct- they all appear to have this one thing in common- a group of Christians who were focussed on prayer together - there certainly is lots of historical support for this. Thank you.
Christ Made Sin for Us. Very good sermon from Rev. Elshout about how Christ who was righteous was made sin for us so that we could be made righteous. What a blessing it is to have a Savior like Christ who was willing to suffer so much for someone as unworthy as me.
Great Sermon! We heard this sermon Sunday evening. It is a warning of the judgement to come. Everyone should listen to this message. What a day that will be for both the converted and the unconverted. Pastor Beeke lays it line upon line and preceipt upon preceipt. There is no middle ground. May this be the means to cause some unconverted person or persons to come to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
