Great Sermon! Lively preaching with chorus singing at the beginning. I appreciate the spirited singing. Good exposition of 1 John 2 looking at it from the light of self-tests to examine ourselves if we truly know, love and obey the Lord
Great Sermon! Your sermons are such a blessing for those of us who have stood against error in the church and want to hear the word of God as it should be preached. Thank you and may the Lord bless you,
Dianne
Excellent Sermon!! This sermon was a real blessing to me, a tremendous encouragement to be persistent in prayer and to have confidence in the Lord's willingness to answer in His own timing and in accordance with His will. Excellent preaching!!
Informative! I came across this sermon by accident but, I wanted to listen to it because I always thought cremation did not sound like something we should do. Thanks for the sermon, it was very helpful!
Great Sermon! Your sermon on " God is not for Alcohol" was a Blessing, you sure have your preaching of the word of God on target! I use to be a drinker so I know what you are saying is truth! Praise God I am not longer one.
Good Message I don't drink and I agree with the intent of the message. I have also enjoyed MANY other of Bro Michaels sermons. Of the verses used however, I don't agree with the way Genesis was used. Noah wasn't said to have sinned and additionally until Leviticus incest was NOT considered a sin. Indeed if it had been, we would have died out quickly from the beginning. I also don't believe brother Michael can be dogmatic in his interpretation of John 2:1. Other ancient texts (which we use for evidence of Biblical text) say that at celebrations, stronger wine was provided at the beginning dulling the senses for weaker wine after. THIS IS NOT TO SAY I CONDONE DRINKING FOR I DO NOT!!! The statistics alone is enough to cause anyone to listen to this sermon. Sola Scriptura!
Great Sermon! I started to listen to this sermon and the information on gluttony was really interesting and I thought it was good information, it didn't really attack the sin like I wish he did, although he did condemn gluttony. Then I started to listen to his thoughts on how women ought to dress, he made some really good points I thought about how men and women should dress distinctively and how in our society we don't. When he started to get into why women ought to dress modestly I started to think he was too extreme about the way that he viewed how women ought to dress in order to protect their brothers in Christ from stumbling. Thinking more about how I personally struggle with women with my eyes I recognized that if our women did dress like this pastor was encouraging them to dress I would struggle much less. It might seem extreme for women, but the way that most men struggle with lust, it would be extremely beneficial for your Christian brothers
Great Sermon! I loved that message Bro Michael!!! With all those statistics, one would think that a born again Christian would totally abstain from all beverage alcohol--but, alas--there are so many professing Christians who would advocate and teach that it is okay to drink beverage alcohol--in moderation--of course!! All that these people do is to try and justify their own use of beverage of alcohol, claiming "Christian liberty"! Our "Christian liberty" should not be an opportunity for the flesh--
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. (Galatians 5:13)
God bless you Bro Michael--
Food for the Christian Soul! An excellent sermon that every serious Christian should replay and listen to once a month or as often as needed until the truth of this message sinks in and results in a stronger prayer reliance.
Great Sermon! Highly recommended! The best expositional sermon on addiction to pornography I have ever heard. I recommend this sermon to anyone struggling with internent pornography addiction.
