Could David, in the brashfulness of his youth, have forgot the lesson learned from the book of Daniel of the stone, being Christ, which came out of heaven dashing the feet of the figure of the man in Nebbucedneza's dream. Maybe he spoke too soon of what he was about to do to Goliath. No one needed to die. Gods soveriegn judgement and mercy would have won the day. Since that day Davids ministry
amongst the highs was stricken with many lows even murder The five stones could possibly be pointing to Jesus sovereignty of Father Son Holy Ghost King and High Priest the five pointed star of David. “ Great Sermon! ” Pastor Nibert's 2 natures, one conciousness explanation is brilliant. I often ponder how I exist in both eternity and time. In these cases separation is only possible by switching conciosness off, thereby eliminating "time."
“ Good Sermon But With Issues ” Overall, this is a good sermon & it seems Todd has spoken on this exact subject at least half dozen other times. Worth repeating.
However, there are issues. This sermon is NOT 52 mins long. At the 23 min mark the sermon is edited & it repeats itself up until the 35 min mark. In order to get the complete sermon, which is only 36 mins in length, you would have to cut out roughly 12 mins of repeated sermon. I did that and pieced together a complete sermon.
It's hard watching this with that extra duplication in there. Hopefully, the church can re-edit it and post up the sermon in it's correct entirety, so that those of us who watch these videos aren't tasked with having to listen to repetitive speech for 12 mins.
“ Absolutely Outstanding! ” I was shocked AND I was amazed when I listened to this sermon. You could even say that I was blown away by it. It's awfully rare for me to hear quality preaching of this magnitude. Todd has reached his pinnacle here. Out of over 1500 sermons of his that I have listened to this one is at the top of the list. I mean the very top. You can't get any higher on top than this. He has outdone himself.
In this sermon, Todd was organized, succinct, clear, concise and very much to the point. It was almost as if I were walking along side of him as he spoke. I have never had that happen before in listening to a preacher.
I hope to hear more just like this. I actually came away from it feeling lighter and more at peace.
The Lord worked a miracle with this sermon.
