Partial obedience is no obedience at all. Saul is a perfect example of one who lets sins go unchecked until finally he must be judged by the LORD. The LORD will not overlook sins in the lives of His people, even though we might have the best of intentions, because it robs us all fruit to be conformed to the image of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Saul lost the kingdom for his rebellion and stubbornness against the word of God. Is this also what we stand to lose for unfaithfulness to Christ and His word? What saith the word of God?
