As we continue our series through Isaiah this week we learn that God has an answer for all the sin, suffering, rebellion, doubts and fears we experience. Whether the enemy comes from within or without (and it is often both!), his answer remains the same – "Behold, a king will reign in righteousness." This is our only hope and salvation– that the Lord reigns. He will bring justice. And with his justice, peace will come. Judah was tempted to look elsewhere for its security and strength, just as we are. But they were warned and promised not to trust in worldly wisdom or strength but to turn to the Lord. "He will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom and knowledge." Why would we want to look anywhere else?
