Overflowing With A Good Theme
As the psalmist said, I'm ready, "My heart is overflowing with a good theme… my tongue is like the pen of a ready writer." Psalm 45:1
He's coming. He's coming. I think in today's reading in Revelation 14, we see in verse number six, where John says, I saw another angel, flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel, to preach to those who dwell on the earth — to every nation, tribe, tongue and people saying with a loud voice — this is the everlasting gospel. What was it: And this is what it is, "Fear God, and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come, worship Him, who has made heaven and earth, the sea, and the springs of water. That was the message that the messenger, the angel, who was flying in heaven, who was preaching the everlasting good news, is proclaiming. What is it? That the Creator, who's created it all, who's been telling and foretelling for generation upon generation, this time was coming, who also has made every provision possible for every tribe, tongue and nation, to be rescued, in advance of His coming. So when he is proclaiming that message, the idea is, is that the Judge is about to call the judgment, for which He has been proclaiming was coming for years and years and years, who's been long suffering toward man, who has been patient and merciful, toward us. Remember God needs none of these things. God doesn't need anything that's in the heavens or on the earth, or in the sea, or the springs of water. These are things that God's given us — that man needs in His mercies toward us. God doesn't need anything to exist. He created it for us, and our existence, and now he's proclaiming the messag |
