While there are many ways we can divide up the people of the world, Jesus tells us that ultimately people are divided into two groups - or more properly, families. Either we are the sons of God, and members of His Family, or we are the sons of the devil and members of his family.
The sermon analyzes the differences between those two families so that we can know who is in which family, and then calls upon you to ask and answer the critical question WHO IS YOUR FATHER? Almost everyone assumes that God is their father, the Jews who hated Christ assumed this for instance, but is that really the case?
For instance can you have God as your father and NOT believe in the Virgin Birth? Can you have God as your father and not Believe Jesus is the Christ? Can you have God as your father and not love Jesus? Regardless of what men SAY, the word says that you will do these things if God is your father.
Also, for Christians, the fact that there really is a Devil and the implications of that for us, and for our daily spiritual warfare is examined.
